I'm sorry, there isn't going to be another catchy nickname like "Mojave" for this next Windows operating system. It's going to be flat-out "7". Yes, the lucky number 7... James Bond's agent code (although there were two 0's before it), the AWFUL, you heard me right, AWFUL Hannah Montana song (7 Things), and, of course, line #7 of the New York subway system that leads to Shea Stadium (as shown in picture). Anyway, Microsoft's CEO Steve Ballmer announced that Windows 7 will, indeed, be the best Windows operating system yet. This announcement was made at the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show on Wednesday in front of several thousand tech professionals and journalists. "We are on track to deliver the best version of Windows ever... We're working hard to get it right and get it ready," Ballmer proclaimed at the convention. Windows 7 is due to be released to the public on Friday. I believe that this is a fantastic idea. As a Windows user, there can be major adjustments made to the system to help load files quicker and easier. To sum it up, be on the look-out for this new system.
